The Villa is a 115-year-old character hostel which is family-owned and has been operated by Rob & Carolyn Burn for over 25 years.
Our world traveller hostel features sun-drenched rooms, gardens and verandas. It is clean, tidy and friendly with a range of comfortable accommodation.
Located in the centre of town, everything Picton has to offer is right at our doorstep.
Rob and Carolyn have owned and operated The Villa Picton YHA for more than 25 years. Now, they are not quite as involved in day-to-day operation as they once were. Rob does try to be there everyday and is always available if needed.
They are widely travelled and spent extended periods overseas and have a great and sympathetic understanding of travellers needs away from home.
Their two sons, Declan and Taylor, were brought up on the premises, educated in Marlborough until University and now live in Sydney and London. This highlights their concerns and understanding of travellers, especially the more youthful.
Their Commitment to You:
"To provide quality budget accommodation, striving to constantly surpass guests' expectations by the excellence of standards of service and facilities.
To raise guests' environmental awareness, to add a rich human experience by way of genuine New Zealand family hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere.
To create a lasting, positive impression of The Villa, Marlborough and our guests' total New Zealand visitor experience."
